Cait Macleod - Co-Host
Hello! I'm Cait, a Johannesburg-girl living in London, researcher-writer by trade, and a T1D for over 20 years. I've been an insulin junkie since I was 10 years old. In my teens, I tried hard but nothing seemed to work. In my 20s, I ignored my T1D as much as possible, keeping things managed just well enough that I could get on with life. Now, in my 30s, I want more than that. I want:
-
to be and feel healthy for decades to come
 -
to understand how this disease is impacting everything from my mental health and fitness, to my immunity, fertility, and longevity.
But there's a problem. Diabetes is COMPLICATED and I only engage with medical professionals for a few hours a year. So, along with my partner-in-crime, Tracy, I'm taking charge and becoming an expert on my own body. We're going to put in the time to learn as much as possible about this crazy illness and we want to share that journey with you.

And maybe, if there's enough interest, we'll build Correction Dose into a living, breathing community to make life with T1D a bit less sh*t for all of us.

I hope you'll join us.
Dr. Tracy Sanders - Co-Host
Hey there! I’m Dr. Tracy Sanders- a medical doctor, adventure enthusiast, and full-time pancreas manager. My work focuses on designing and staffing mobile health clinics that provide essential care to underserved communities across South Africa. But when I’m not doing that, you’ll find me on a bike, in the ocean, up a mountain, or under the stars with a tent—always embracing challenges that push boundaries and foster growth.

Type one diabetes is my lifelong teacher. It has shaped my belief that true health means addressing things holistically, including physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual health. Through Correction Dose, I aim to inspire others to redefine “limitless” living in a way that resonates personally. Together, through shared experiences, we can navigate the dynamic journey of diabetes with resilience, balance, and purpose!
